Oral Pathology

Oral pathology is concerned with the assessment and management of diseases occurring in the mouth, face or jaws.

Assessment will include a thorough review of medical history and clinical examination including medical imagery (X-rays or CT/MRI scans).  In addition, a biopsy is often required to obtain a piece of tissue, which can be sent for diagnosis.

Once this has occurred, Dr Nova Gibson will recommend the most appropriate treatment.
